STOLEN SLEEP

It's been a decade since my sleep was last stolen,
My eyes made to peruse into tinted air
Leaving my mind in company of thoughts of you,
Entangling my sanity in a twisted combat of reality.
With bruised fist and thwarted desires,
Wallowing in clouded fantasy and fading fiction,
Loosing me to us atom by atom,
Craving for a similar come back night after night.

With seen bubbles of my drowning breaths
And ripples of my gasping air.
Entrapped in oceans of your illuminating glow,
Your luxurious and extravagant fairness keep
My weight down this ocean.
If you can understand my plight,
You will know that all night my thoughts were
camped around you. Good morning cupcake.
