Stone Age woman

( I recieved a gold award for this in an international contest on Stone Age)

The Stone Age woman squats
with her caveman.
All her cave decor and crockery
in limestone or other stoneware.
If the meal goes stone cold,
she rubs twain to make fire.
Her gravel stonework home,
storing all the stone tools.
Her ceiling, stony igneous rock,
and so is her floor.
And her baby, weighing
less than 12 stone.
She leaves no stone unturned
to ferret out any scorpion
once it sneaks inside!

And, ah, wearing her necklace of moonstone,
she admires her reflection
in an ancient lake...
Nature, always at a stone's throw.
Archery, her sport,
with a graphite arrow.

"Stone 'em, stag, stone dead,"
her husband's fav hunter slang and slogan,
in tribal vernacular...
She cheers on her hunter hubby
with a slingstone from
a big gap crack in the cave...
Mr n Ms. Slingstones....
