Stories

Maybe in another world
Perhaps a different time
Pretend the sun and moon have swirled
Mayhap another time

Imagine you, and I divine
Foretold, above the stars
'Neath fields of flowers, roots do bind
The essence of who we are
Pretend the sky is middle ground
A place we can walk to
Look at all the love there found
How treasures are so few
Follow your path and lay with me
Paint clouds below the blue
Let our minds make shapes to see
And our hearts decide what's true
Foresee the ocean, perils lost
They sink out of our sight
Under the waves and at no cost
Let troubles live their plight

Maybe in, another world
Perhaps a different time
We wouldn't see our love unfurled
The wind, for us, its chime
