The ever so present fear of vulnerability
swirls around as violently as a tornado,
but extracted by your gentle touch

In an instant,
it's diminished to a light breeze
drifted away as debris does after destruction

Pulled into you
like condensation into a cloud
I'm full and complete

But alas,
I will always fall
come crashing down for the cycle to begin again

Reality strikes like lightning,
heavy heartbeat booms like thunder,
tears drop like steady rain

Eventually, the clouds break
The rainbow shines
The storm passes

But the inevitability remains:
The darkness will come again
