Stormy Night

Flash of lightning
Crash of thunder
The rain came slowly
A mist in the air
Hair getting damp
Like after a shower
The sky, dark
Not a star, nor a bark
The moon hidden
Like a witness
Under protection
It's own identity
In the shadows of the earth
The clouds in the sky
Like the angels of God
Everywhere they are
But nowhere, they're gone
The sound of a cricket
And the croaking of the frogs
All that is noise
Is all the silence
Of the night
The storms of the earth
Watch us closely
And help us usually
Let us see far in the night
That lays before us
