Strangers

Strangers
Distant, yet still there
They stroll along, faces down, no connection
As if they were as sullen as a robot
Strangers
You don't know them
What once was transparent is now obscure
When all your life, there was a certainty
Now you realize it was all a lie
Strangers
People aren't born this way
They grow into them as time passes by
Gradually becoming a shadow with dark secrets
Strangers
You gain their trust
You receive their love
You rely on their help
Strangers
You lose their trust
You forget their love
You need help
Strangers
The man in my life
Through thick and thin
Is now a stranger
But I will unconditionally love him
Because no matter how distant he is,
And how much he has changed,
I will forgive him
Because we all become strangers
Lost...
Found.
