streetlights

Streetlight haven, darkness fading
Shadows crawling, time is waiting

I run so fast, I can’t go far
The night is black, that’s what we are

Tiny bulbs, smaller spaces
So little time, moonlit faces

No sunrise savior, no waining moon
Regret at night, and no dawn soon

Where do we go? What saves our minds?
Neon lights, lovely rhymes

Highway headlights, marquee titles
Late night lovers, lifeless idols

Streetlight havens, darkness fading
The post is close, just me racing.
