Swarming with emotion,
the roof is caving in-
tears escaping through
the cracks of my imperfect skin.
Layers of deceit unfurling
before my eyes;
insomnia starts with
sleepless nights.
Tossing and turning and
muffled cries,
free-falling through the floor
into a sea of lies.
This is my life.
Where does it go from here?
Down my cheek
rolls one last shining tear.
