Stuck Inside

By

Stuck inside with two
What am I to do?
Nowhere to take you,
Screams echo all around

Can’t watch the news,
Nothing has changed.
Stay inside, do your part
For all to survive.
Mask up, shut up
Don’t question authority

A deadly virus, so they say,
Numbers counted every day
Exaggerations become the way
Don’t ask the wrong questions.

No more school, no more church,
No more civility.
Judgments made but not understood
What is wrong with my neighborhood?

Stuck inside for the best,
At least here, we can find rest.
