Suffocate

I always dreamed that I would be a queen.
Sitting on a throne built of my dreams.
I would have servents.
I would have knights.
I would have momuments built of my life.

I always dream that I would be a queen.
There would be no need for a king.
There would be no need for cruelty.
For I would rule with an iron fist
and a Golden Heart.

I always dreamed that I would be a queen.
The one that would never see war.
Never see her subjects sentenced to death
for crimes that they would never commit.

I always dreamed that I would be a queen.
I just never expected my dreams to be torn.
I never expected to be thrown away, like trash
on a Sunday.

I always dreamed that I would be a queen.
I had hoped.
I had believed.
I had dreamed.
I should've known, that they would never listen to me.
