Sulphur Days

To the farthest corner of the sky,

my fluttering eyelids seek for solitude;

The breeze plays with my hair,

cooling the stress of lips-

I see the clouds frolicking

in the midst of the exuberant sky;

Throwing all paints

on its gray canvass .

The lucid light embraces my soul,

relieving the pain of frayed nerves;

To let me relish the realm of joy

in the lap of nature.

And Oh nature!

Your cool breath softens my brow,

calm my heart ,

as I see the pigeons white as milk-

flying high with freedom and peace;

And all these pleasures-

waiting for some rain to ascend

through my stressed veins.

Give me more life!

Give me more life!

To quench my thirst with yet more love-

On this misty day,

filll my heart with yet more charm.
