Summer’s Night

The sweet lick of the hot summer's air
Invades my body it gently brushes my hair
The smell, the feel, the taste
Warms my soul with its sensual embrace
The trees stand still the leaves keep silent this night
There is no invasion of cold wind to fight
The kisses of heat on my neck and my chest
Put my spirit at ease and my heart to rest
Oh summer's night how you've been missed
