Sun and Moon

They ask me- how I like it here
they ask me- if it's better than there
truthfully I can't answer...
because the sun is the same everywhere
and the same moon causes me to stare
the same air I breathe to keep alive and going
I have the same heart that is still beating

so perhaps I'm in the same place still.
Perhaps leaving I never will.
But I know I'm not home
because when the sun rises it's a different hue
the moon looks like a different half
the sky looks a clearer blue
and then I know
the one thing different, is I'm without you.
