Sunny Side Down

Life reminded him of scrambled eggs
He dared to say
The yolk and the whites
Are the good and the bad
The ying and the yang

Fragments of hard shells
Thrown in by mistake
Mixed with the goey, dripping, undeveloped promises of life
Innocently natural yet jaggedly unpleasant
All jumbled into one
Abstract, never concrete

The final product?
Cooking under the perfect flame that wont dare to over fry or underdo
Bland and untasteful
A taunting routine
Being force fed to him
Sunny side down, a record on repeat
