Sunrise Sonnet

I look outside 'tis the morning sunrise
Rising from beyond trees on horizon
A blend of orange, red, yellow, and peach
Rising as if only to enlighten
The Sun 'tis is the center of it all
Its purpose fulfilled, its place to brighten
Blending with bright red, bold orange, and peach
Creating a scene meant to be blinding
Meant to make oneself utterly speechless
A vision so common yet so striking

The sunrise is a mind awakening
A symbol of a day soon to begin
And to think that a blend of bright colors
Is rising beyond trees on horizon
