Sunset, Sunrise, Sunset

Like the rolling of the great sea.
A happy loving dance in her eyes.
They are easy to confide in, they fly away to catch me.
Ashen embers glow inside them like a sky
full of storms raging with lust.
In hope that she’ll don off the old for anew,
for a feeling that I now trust
to be envy that silently grew
around tired eyes, red like rust.
Is it warmth you want or my wanting?
A flame can only go so long with no air.
She swims alone in shades of vivid love.
The blotched sky lit in purple and grey.
A bright soothing angel, cowering with care.
She quickly becoming subdued to being, once again,
in good fortunate and love.
Where affection afflicts and changes and bends.
The rays dripping in as the night riots.
Confused and sad in pearls of love.
Morning sunlight sheds the clouds above.
It summited adulterated love to them in a plummet.
A gaze of separate poses in golden beams.
The love that seemed, in the savor light leaving.
Suffocated without love and devotion of any kind.
The lost adoration, only to resurrect
into something truly beautiful.
