Suppress Her Blaze

You got yourself a woman
with fire in her soul.
Trailblazing with passion so hot,
it's part of what warms you thinking of her very being.
But sometimes her words burn holes
into your ears,
and are branded in your heart.
And you hate how destructive she can be,
how painfully good she is at it.
Deep down you love the way
she sets everything in her path
up into flames.
Because you're the water
that calms her down,
she needs you
or she'd destroy everything
when ignited.
