Survivor of the cause

Nothing speaks like silence
In a world that never speaks
Confronted by a virus
The lain dormant beneath
Devoted to a dreamworld
Once cushioned from the truth
We watched bubble burst
Against the lion's tooth
Then spiralled into panic
Entitled to demands
Retreating into quarters
Disgusted by our hands...
Conspiracies presented
Like ladies of the night
World leaders then resented
And slowly losing sight
It's written on their faces
It hides behind the eyes
Increasing are the cases
How many will survive?
In digits we are plenty
In body we are thick
But loved once can be sparse
And losing one can stick
In better days you'll found me
Survivor of the cause
