Survivor Pain

Waiting for their lives to end
Is there no way to get the pain out of my head
Why do I have to watch them die
Suffering slowly, reaching for the sky
When all the while they're falling down
Dragged by the weight of their suits and gowns
Why do I have to watch them die
Is this some punishment of mine
Why do I have to hear their screams
Bouncing of the waters once beautiful sheen
Is it fair to be the one
With screams laced in and spun
In a head of lies that were once the truth
When I was far back in my innocent youth
When my screams were cries of joy
And the water
Just A playful toy
