Survivor’s Mindset

For the ones who think the struggle isn't real
I wish you knew just how much pain I feel
People out in the street worried about their life
Cause you don't know who could pull a gun or knife
You better lock your doors before every night
People runnin through the streets looking for a fight
But everyone says forget those who been through it all
Then we start to rise and show them we stand tall
People try to treat like we're the outcast
All we trying to do is make sure no ones last
The day you gotta get out and say your final goodbyes
You'll feel all regrets and mistakes can't look anyone in the eyes
Everything begins running through your head
If you ever see these people again will they be alive or dead
You just keep it all locked in your mind
Now I'm down I just gotta let it all unwind
