Sweet Elixir

Whisper, whisper in my ear. Tell me of your darkest fear.
Whisper, whisper in my ear. Let me protect you my dear.
Unspoken fears trapped deep inside, staining the fabric of your soul.
Whisper, whisper in my ear. Trust in me as I hold you near.
Holding you tight the pain seeps from deep inside.
Pain encrusted by the rock hard shell of time.

Whisper, whisper in my ear. Allow me to escort you to serenity.
A serenity that only comes from overcoming your despair.
Your laughter takes me to a special place.
A place that is free from your scar riddled past.

Tell me, Tell me where you want to soar.
Tell me, tell me where is that hidden door.
A door sealed long ago by betrayal and lies.
Tell me, Tell me trust in me look deep into my eyes.

When I draw you close, pulling you near.
I feel the pain as your heart pounds and pounds
It pounds the rhythm of a distant scream.
A scream that people can no longer hear.
They have been deafened by their own fear.
A fear that they may find a very bright soul.
Whisper, whisper in my ear share with me the beauty within.
Whisper , whisper in my ear. I long to taste your sweet elixir.
