sweet frostbite
come inside? never again
i laugh back at you as you tug on my coat
i leave imprints of our journey on the snow
with each step
looking up at the dark gray sky,
i am speckled in white
o lord, o winter,
the stars must be falling!
fall back on heaven’s bed, arms outstretched, and accept
oh, thank you!
the frostbite takes my hands and she tells me
you live
you’re alive
forever and always!
i love you, i love you
i love you so much!
i laugh back at you as you tug on my coat
i leave imprints of our journey on the snow
with each step
looking up at the dark gray sky,
i am speckled in white
o lord, o winter,
the stars must be falling!
fall back on heaven’s bed, arms outstretched, and accept
oh, thank you!
the frostbite takes my hands and she tells me
you live
you’re alive
forever and always!
i love you, i love you
i love you so much!

i don\'t like being cold so much. but sometimes, it\'s hard to resist the need to fall back in the snow. i don\'t really like how winter is always described as being a cold and unfeeling season. it only truly deserved that name back when we couldn\'t protect ourselves from it. i think the world loves you all year long. even when it\'s cold out.
