Sweet Innocent Child

Innocent Child

Sweet, innocent baby face
filled with such amazing grace
A pretty princess grows,
Mommy is all aglow
Soon it will be your due date
Please don't make us wait
to see your sweet baby face

Your cute, tiny fingers
Sweet baby toes
A pert little nose
Times are changing,
Mommy and Daddy
rearranging,
Things like bat's and balls,
must go

It's time for sweet baby dresses
with button and bows
A pink dress with satin and lace
Puts a big smile on Mommy's face
Our time to see you is drawing nigh
Soon I will rock you and sing you a
lullaby

A new day is dawning
Dawn Isabelle is coming
Welcome to our life
Sweet innocent child
You are a perfect fit

This Poems Story

I was writing a baby poem for my cousin's baby shower. I added personal stuff to her poem, but this is the basics.
