Take A Stand

The world seemly ends
When wise voices no longer calls
As children, paying for other's sins,
Are struggling to conquer these closed walls
No longer have we followed virtue
But our own simplicities, summoning disasters,
Burying morals and wisdom and losing what's true
We are sinking into the abyss faster and further
A world once pure as white snow
Submersed in dreams of ignorant slumber
Awakened into broken reality from a stout crow
Hungry for more human avarice
Take a look at this beautiful land
Continually tempted by vice
Who's willing to take a great stand,
And willing to lead a great hand?
