Take Me as I Am

Take me as I am.
You're all I know.
My heart has been shattered,
Long before I actually knew you.
You are the potter.
You molded me back together,
The same way you broke me in half.
It's like getting hit by a car
And dying instantly on impact.
And You hit me hard, constantly.
But instead of dying, I lived a little.
With every hit came light,
And with every faze of light came a tear.
But I knew that every emotion I was experiencing,
Was not sadness, anger, depression.
It was love, not the kind of love you see on movies.
This wasn't a love story, because stories end.
With you there is no ending.
Just a beginning.
