Tales of sisterhood

Dear Ameeh,

The war has ended, taking away all of my joy
Mother was maimed by the dark soldier
Which your heart flutters to
Do you recall? When we'd sat under a moonlight
He passed by with his dog
You had said you love him

And,
Here is mother as I write
Staring to nothingness and calling father's name
He was burnt alive. We were bound and forced to watch
"There are loafs of bread hidden in the shoe,
Send them to your sister"
He loved you till his last breath.

You'd been forgiven
Come back home
For your side on our mat
Lays cold and bare.

Cordially,
Your sister.
