Talk of War

Talk of peace,
Talk of war,
Talk of death,
Nothing more.

Should we fight?
Is it right?
Do we leave our lives behind?

A country's pride insulted now,
We have no choice, to war we're bound.

A pride this strong isn't right.
A pride like this will take thousands of lives.

Drafted down to the ships offshore,
Say goodbye to my love evermore.

We cross the sea, many battles in store,
All because the talk of war.
