Talking To Myself

Do not blame yourself,
just your luck.
He was sent from hell.
Yeah, hunny it surely sucks.
I know it still cuts like a bitch,
that August when you were ditched.
But you must remain strong.
Write those words.
Play those songs.
Belong, not be gone.
There's got to be a way
to break apart the pain.
There's got to be a way
to diffuse the self-hate,
before the trauma becomes your fate.

You thought you were becoming better
but seeing him was like a paper to the shredder.
And now you're broken
all over again.

But did you know that I was right there too?
All this time, and I still save you!
We carry everything together
and I can tell that you ARE getting better.

Do not blame the pain.
Just blame the day.
They tend to be a bitch sometimes.
Yeah, they tend to make you feel as if you won't survive.
