Tall Tower Jezebel

Keep me like the dawn,
Steady hand, steady rain,
Mist that curls about the breast,
Round the neck and down the chest,
Serpentine, a woman's guile,
Penetrates but does no harm,
Tear drop trace like burning leaves,
Mark the stain, her funeral cairn,
Open up the guilted bower,
Cast her down, caster her down,
Open up the gilded tower,
Torn by dogs and laid to rest.
