Tantalized By Truth

Tantalized by truth,
I can see the fields that grow,
As my eyes look elsewhere,
Feelings that forever change.
I weep,
For the youth that can see no longer,
Blinded by their lessons and classes,
Thinking with the mentality of a halfway house.
They keep fact,
Foreign to the past,
They walk alone,
A generation built around falsity,
And stone gods from years past.
