Taylor No. 6

You asked me if I loved you like I love the moon
You were upset when I told you no

I said I couldn't love anything like I love you
But if I had to compare, I would say;

I love you like the stars,
With utter amazement
And dire desire to understand everything about them.

How they began, and what happened
What caused the state they are currently in

I would argue most importantly to know how they end.
I hope the be there when they cease to exist
So I can end too.

Most people would tell you
They love you like the moon.
I'm not most people
And I love you like the stars.
