There is something calming about drinking tea
Like watching a sunset stained sea
The anticipation of the end
For both cases transcend
The basic euphoria's of life
Like the temptation of Lot's wife
To want something so bad
To crave something you never had
Because it's not ever the same
Like watching a candles flame
Although each time the similarities are there
To most they are the same when they compare
But you know it's different each time you brew
The taste, the sin, the flame the view
So you keep sinning and watching the flame flick
You look back, you stare at the candles wick
You watch the sun get extinguished by the sea
You gently sip you fresh brewed tea
