TEAR

TEAR

When I am being laid in the ground do shed a tear
I have waited for you across half baked sun
I have wandered for you through lives once twice and thrice
I have lived, I have died, lived once more, now I am dead
I listlessly waited for you at heaven’s gates.
My breath twins with desire
I burn like the sun gobbling up the crimson sky
Civilisations collapse, humanity withers
Forests are on fire and oceans bleed
The world is dying on me as I died on you
When I am led to rest do shed a tear for me too!
I gasped and foundered, pain and pain
All around me was an industrial haze
I remember your kohl lined eyes, your gently bundled hair
The lines on your forehead forever disappear
Your eyes bring rain storm and tumult in me
I can’t breathe, see or fear your touch anymore
The earth is dying and I am dying with it too
Asphyxiated, choked, poisoned, battered and bruised
The earth and me competed -now we both are gone
Now I am resting in the cold earth still waiting for your tear!

When I am being laid in the ground do shed a tear
I have waited for you across half-baked sun
I have wandered for you through lives once twice and thrice
I have lived, I have died, lived once more, now I am dead
I listlessly waited for you at heaven’s gates.
My breath twins with desire
I burn like the sun gobbling up the crimson sky
Civilisations collapse, humanity withers
Forests are on fire and oceans bleed
The world is dying on me as I died on you
When I am led to rest do shed a tear for me too!
I gasped and foundered, pain and pain
All around me was an industrial haze
I remember your kohl lined eyes, your gently bundled hair
The lines on your forehead forever disappear
