These tears I shed
Flow like a rushing river,
Building a canyon
Through my life.

The tears glisten like diamonds
Against the mocking Sun;
They shine more and more
Hoping to catch someone's eye.

The tears scream,
Wanting to be heard,
Only to be mocked
By their own voices.

My tears slide further down my face,
Knowing they will never be seen,
They disappear without being noticed
Only to be seen again.
