Tell One Laugh at a Time

Conversations less a day
Disguising hints in yesterday
To frame a memory that staged a crime
One laugh at a time

Never claim the stories wilt
That carry the day of molten guilt
Fashioning society's visual rhyme
At one laugh at a time

Ease falls flat and visions clear
Tremendous as they disappear
Folding heaven into rhyme
By one laugh at a time

Each step blows its ring
As the sidewalk's shoehorns sing
Fresh from the traffic's assiduous climb
From one laugh at a time
