Got to get up, go to school, and do my classwork.
Sit in front of infantile children,
who jab their feet into my chair.
Released after the final bell, rush home, do my homework.
Rinse, recycle, and repeat.
And yet, I can't help but wonder,
if I had more time,
I could comprehend the meaning of whispers of the books,
begging me to learn their stories.
To journey to the sparkling stars in the crisp winter sky,
and be back before morning.
To finally discover--bing.
Time's up.
