Test

Oh no! Oh no!
I didn't study for my test.
One answer I know,
And I'll have to wing the rest.
But wait, I have an idea,
The boy's test my eyes meet.
I'll copy all of his answers,
And I'll just cheat.
He must be smart,
I thought to myself,
Since he has glasses
And reads books on the shelf.
We then turned them in,
I just couldn't wait.
As we put them in the bin,
I wondered of my fate.
Then the teacher passed them back,
As I breathed in and exhaled,
But I couldn't believe my eyes when
I saw that I had failed!

This Poems Story

My name is Medina Danish and I am 12 years old. I live with my parents and three sisters in Winchester, California. For as long as I could remember, I loved to write. I entered poetry and essay competitions to have my works in newspapers, published in a book and receive fourth place. My goal is to become an author in the future and to continue doing what I love.
