Thank the Lord for a Glorious Re
In just a breath away we'll leave mortality,
For the next phase on our bold eternal journey.
Bathed in His light that is so warm, bright and sublime,
Where our senses grow more sensitive and refined.
Understanding will broaden, deepen and increase,
As our primal knowledge advances at light speed.
And emotions will become more intensified,
As natural passions and desires are set aside.
In this wondrous state we will once again meet,
Family and friends: and lost ancestors we'll greet.
There'll be our father, mother, sisters and brothers,
Grandparents, husband, wife, sons, daughters and others.
Our appearance will be as when we left this life,
Yet with bodies pure and relieved from all strife.
We'll laugh, weep, embrace, and reminisce together,
Starting missed discourses one with another.
Envy and hate lost through forgiveness and ardor,
As time loses meaning: no past, present or future.
Hal le lu jah, Amen, Christ overcame the fall,
A glorious reunion thus awaits us all.
