Thanks for the Memories

To play in the schoolyard and laugh all day
Not a care in the world to be a kid
The feeling is great I wish it would stay
I get older and older, my childhoods' hid
Bodies changing and my feelings too
Not sure where I should go from here
So many distractions, but what is true
Graduated high school as my parents cheer
Good bye to school, say hello to work
My life is great, I'm recently wed
There's too much stress, my boss is a jerk
With a son of my own in his tiny bed
Yesterday I was a kid, time goes by too fast
So remember to make, all your memories last
