That One Time

Baklava, and coffee
Five creams, two sugars
Your scent in the breeze whifting to me
Carrying my senses away to another day
You smelled of flower petals in blossom
Pungent roses in afternoon sunshine
Orange, gold, brown, maroon, blonde, and white
counting the endless strands upon my shoulders
Inhaling me like helium
Exhaling like a fall into deep slumber
Sunshine crested ocean distances, glittering upon waves
Dune grass in the wind
Pure clear skies, salt on my skin
White sand on my toes
Cream in my coffee. The sweet aroma
You said I look older
No, I'm the same
It's the purple dress
