That Shadow of the Corridor

since you love me I loved many songs, many songs
dejected me when you loved me not, many times
lonely I became, many times you filled that space!
in this empty home you ran with your swinging braids,
rhythm was there!
now that door, that window, that
shadow of the corridor jingle not in delight!
now the song I knew became a secluded island,
a deranged lover, abandoned I am-
with a lone sail on a boat I drift along, the
song I hear like an illusory call of the night!
at the door of my heart I hear the screaming, not
the song! then why should I listen to songs?
in the song I feel an ill fate, conspiracy and darkness
all over! Orpheus! which melody you played in your lyre?
I missed it!
after many morbid days I laughed aloud
under a sky of many pallid stars!
but that laughter echoed no sound.
