That There’ll be Peace

(Caution on the perils in life)

The iceberg lurks beneath the sea
In the path of the unwary Titanic.
The snake’s concealed under the grass
Poised to snip at the unsuspecting heel,
And lethal scorpions prowl under rocks.
The sheath masks the sharp dagger,
The holster hides the loaded gun,
And the wolf masquerades in sheep’s apparel.
These are times and tides to be watchful
So follow humanity with telescopic eyes
Wide open scanning the horizon.
Nip mischief in the bud,
Crush the serpent in the egg shell;
Be a step ahead of the terrorists
That the world might be at peace!
