That’s Me

That's my voice, lost in its waves
That's my eye, drowned in its tears
That's my hand, held by its nails
showing it how real my fears
That's my breath, keeping a puff
That's my blood, waiting a hurt
That's my heart, screaming enough
Blaming its beats for being alert

That's me, had struggled in every way
That's me, hating the day I was born
That's me, walking away
From me, accepting the black I've worn
No me, don't go
How can I be without your support
No me, don't ask me how
I know I'm innocent in your court

You're me, you're powerful
You're the seed that has grown without care
You're me, you're beautiful
In the dark, you've lightened for me that broken stair
That's me, will be with me and never leave me alone
That's me, is saying to me I'm the queen of my throne
