The After Life

My maker draws me closer.
I hate feeling helpless when the selfish
& insane entity chokes me to death.
Evil echos & no one questions why.
Uncontrollable crying.
The fear of dying.
I searched my mind.
For what was to blame.
You can never hide from shame.
A glowing light too bright.
Dims fast when your mortality doesn't last.
There is a grey void when your air way is crushed.
Nothing I could unconsciously avoid.
Death is not what I want.
A sole desire.
To inspire a little higher.
Joy transpires but it is to late.
