The anecdote of my life

I looked at the startled sky
And I began to fly
The mesmerising high rejuvenated me
While my life flashed by;

I was in the midst of a thunderstorm
My life processes had begun to slow down,
The spark in me was almost gone
While my heart slowly drowned:

But then she prickled my life with a colour scheme
She made me dream,
She made me scream
And suddenly my life began to gleam;

Today I’m glad I can see this alluring night
And thank god for my enviable life,
Everything is now so bright
That I have nothing to stive.
