Slowly they rise above you,
Casting dark shadows over the land.
Dark and powerful they seem,
And you're standing on shifting sand.
Colder the air grows around you,
As you face your biggest fears.
You turn to your giants and ignore the light that is near.
It's six on one;
The battle's already lost.
You put up a fight, but it's not enough.
You lie on the ground;
Your hope flies away.
Your mind knows this fact -
You won't see the next day.
But you remember the light,
And cry in the night
For help to come and save you -
Your last chance for life.
Suddenly you're wrapped in warmth,
Encased in the shadowing love of your angel's wings,
In the protection of the light.
