The Appointed Time
Confined to a window of time
We've been delivered to the world
Dropped into a sea of events
That we couldn't swim away from
Imprisoned in the appointed time
Floating free in an endless sea
And soaked in the waters of freedom
In the confines of the window of time
Intersected windows bind us
To the past and the future as well
Parts that were not intersected
With no claim to the appointed time
Yet they enrich the other part
That sends in beams of light
Binding us to the chain of humanity
With unbroken links of peace
Hence revealing the reason for
Existing in the window of time
According to the Supreme Plan
We've been delivered to the world
Dropped into a sea of events
That we couldn't swim away from
Imprisoned in the appointed time
Floating free in an endless sea
And soaked in the waters of freedom
In the confines of the window of time
Intersected windows bind us
To the past and the future as well
Parts that were not intersected
With no claim to the appointed time
Yet they enrich the other part
That sends in beams of light
Binding us to the chain of humanity
With unbroken links of peace
Hence revealing the reason for
Existing in the window of time
According to the Supreme Plan

We sometimes wonder why we were born to live in a certain window of time, and how this timing occurred for our existence in the world. This poem is an expression of that.
