The Battle Cry

Betrayed by the essence of existence condition,
as I plead and beg with entreat for mercy.

Approaching ignorance with my peace treaty,
giving hope a chance to activate,
humbled to impart my terms of agreement.
Often, like deaf to their ears, logic shows no concern,
in an instance, barbaric action take heed,
ignorance nullified my proposal making it void.
The two entities collide, waging war, not in the
physical but in the spirit, as pride and truth set the
atmosphere for the last hostile encounter.
Ignorance seemed to be winning the battle,
turning down all agreements, logic, and terms.
In an epic defeat, truth triumphs by piercing the lack
of knowledge right underneath ignorance's feet.
