The Battle of Hot and Cold

The hot and the cold,
Both very bold,
Grapple for the earth,
They want human turf,
One strikes the others heel,
But he does not kneel,
One strikes the others head,
But can't claim him dead,
Six months of hot and six months of cold,
Neither is new and neither is old,
Hot has one side and cold has the other,
They will never ever stop,
Trying to kill one another.
