The Beach

The echo of waves crashing in unison is amidst
Each foaming white wave disappears in the sand
The water is an endless blanklet, meeting the bank for a kiss
The coolness of the occasional breeze graces the land
The gleaming sun heavily scorches the golden dust
Fragile seashells hide beneath the ripples in segments
The array of pebbles change as waves touch Earth's crust
The stinging taste of salt in the air is ever so present
Fluffy, white clouds mask the blueness of the sky
Keen seagulls hover above, crooning a speech
Kelp is nudged along the shore and there it lies
The devoted motion of the beach
